The Truth about Diet and Weight Loss

I want to talk tonight about weight loss. It’s a subject everyone is worried about. And the problem is that diets don’t work. Everybody has tried a diet. I haven’t met a person yet that’s hasn’t tried something, from kids to people in their eighties; everybody has tried some kind of diet and they just don’t work. In recent studies when they looked at a lot of their major diets (some good one’s, Atkins, The Zone), they put them all together statistically and found a ten pound weight loss on average. Now, these people lost a hundred pounds and gained it back of course. But, all that work, all that money, all those videos, for ten pounds of weight loss?

So the truth is, we have to find a life style that will allow you to stay at a weight that is healthy for you. That’s a much different way of thinking than all this crash dieting that goes on. What you have to learn is how to take care of yourself; you have to learn the appropriate foods; you have to make better choices. That’s the only way it’s going to work.

Is it possible to visibly see weightloss within a few days if you burn more calories then you consume?

Yes, that's how you lose weight. But it will most likely take a few weeks before you'll get visible results.

 

I'm quite a big girl but lately i've been exercising and eating fiarly healthy, and i've noticed my collarbones are becoming more visible, is this signs of weightloss and does this mean other parts of my body are sliming down too?

yeah, collarbones is where i notice alot of weight loss pesonally. usually dirrectly underneath them to be more specific. keep up the good work!

 

I recently visited my doctor and he said it isn’t working for me. Has anyone been at this point and gotten back on track and achieved weightloss? How did you do it?

That’s strange, as it usually produces profound rapid weight loss.

You may need to check and see if the band is properly positioned and adjusted. The amount of food you consume should be drastically reduced, and if it isn’t, it could mean the band has either slipped, or isn’t restricting your stomach properly.

Might be worth going through your hormones as well to see if there’s anything interfering - it’s rare but it can happen.

 

I read online that you can use this for weightloss and I have quite a bit of it - it is supposed to be used with a nebulizer for wheezing, but how do i take it to lose weight??? drink it??

What you do is leave it the hell alone–this is a steroidal medication and should be used ONLY for its intended purpose. I could populate a small city with the young people who ruin their health or kill themselves by playing with "harmless" drugs for nincompoop things like weight loss.
